Academy Dental is excited to announce its investment in a state-of-the-art sterilization center. Improving on efficiency, efficacy, and safety, AD's new Instrument Management System (IMS) implements a steel cassette system and semi-automated workflow to provide a more safe and sterile healthcare environment. Under the experienced direction of Stacey Smith, our sterilization process offers new levels of safety and infection control for our staff and our patients. Laser Therapy
January 2012

Academy Dental will begin offering laser therapy in 2012. Lasers are increasingly being used to treat the soft tissues of the mouth. A safe and almost painless instrument, lasers can perform minor tissue surgeries, mitigate bacterial and viral infections, and promote tissue healing. Lasers concentrate light of a particular wavelength that is only absorbed by very specific tissue types--thereby allowing a dentist to limit treatment to very precise areas. Lasers represent our continued commitment to providing state-of-the-art County dentistry.

This exciting digital design suite allows dentists to scan, design, and fabricate crowns, inlays, onlays, and temporary bridges--all chairside--bringing more comfortable, affordable, and convenient dentisry to the County.
